First Deer for James
This is our sons' first deer. It was believed to be a doe, however, it turned out to be a "button-buck," a young buck which hadn't yet grown any antlers. This deer was shot with a rifle which I had originally purchased for my dad, who shot his one & only deer with it. I inherited this rifle back 3 years ago, when my dad passed away.
Furthermore, it was shot from a blind we refer to as the "sky-box," one which James had helped to build. It is called by this name, because the floor is 8 feet off the ground.
I didn't shoot any deer this year, so my freezer may not be full, but my heart sure is!!!!!
